BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide derived from a protein found in human gastric juice. It consists of 15 amino acids and has been the subject of extensive preclinical research, primarily in rodent models, demonstrating a remarkable range of regenerative and protective effects.

Mechanism of Action

BPC-157 appears to work through several overlapping mechanisms. It upregulates growth hormone receptors in tendon fibroblasts, accelerating the repair of connective tissue. It modulates nitric oxide synthesis, improving blood flow to injured areas.
