How to Use CJC-1295: DAC vs. No-DAC, Dosing, and Protocol
Complete guide to CJC-1295 — DAC vs. no-DAC differences, dosing (100–2000mcg), injection frequency, and stacking with ipamorelin.
Overview
CJC-1295 is a synthetic GHRH analogue that stimulates GH release. It comes in two forms: CJC-1295 with DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) which has a half-life of 6–8 days, and CJC-1295 without DAC (also called Mod GRF 1-29) which has a half-life of ~30 minutes. The choice between them significantly affects dosing frequency and GH release pattern.
What You Need
- CJC-1295 vial (with or without DAC)
- Bacteriostatic water (2mL)
- Insulin syringes (U-100)
- Alcohol swabs
Step-by-Step Instructions
Choose: DAC or No-DAC
CJC-1295 with DAC: injected 1–2x per week, produces sustained GH elevation ('GH bleed'). CJC-1295 without DAC (Mod GRF): injected 2–3x daily, produces pulsatile GH release mimicking natural patterns. No-DAC is preferred for body composition; DAC for convenience.
Reconstitute the vial
Add 2mL bacteriostatic water to a 2mg vial for 1mg/mL (1000mcg/mL) concentration.
Dose CJC-1295 without DAC
Standard dose: 100–200mcg per injection, 2–3x daily (morning, post-workout, pre-sleep). At 1000mcg/mL: 100mcg = 0.1mL = 10 units.
Dose CJC-1295 with DAC
Standard dose: 1000–2000mcg (1–2mg) once or twice per week. At 1000mcg/mL: 1000mcg = 1mL = 100 units.
Run a cycle
Standard cycle: 8–12 weeks on, 4 weeks off. Monitor for water retention, carpal tunnel symptoms, and fatigue — signs of excessive GH elevation.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Confusing DAC and no-DAC dosing
Fix: DAC and no-DAC have very different dosing frequencies. DAC: 1–2x per week. No-DAC: 2–3x per day. Using DAC dosing for no-DAC (or vice versa) will produce poor results or side effects.
Not stacking with a GHRP
Fix: CJC-1295 (GHRH analogue) works synergistically with GHRPs like ipamorelin. Using CJC-1295 alone produces modest results compared to the combination.
Injecting after a carb-heavy meal
Fix: High insulin suppresses GH release. Inject in a fasted state or at least 2 hours after a meal.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which is better: CJC-1295 with DAC or without DAC?
For body composition and mimicking natural GH patterns, no-DAC (Mod GRF 1-29) is generally preferred. For convenience (fewer injections), DAC is easier to use. No-DAC produces pulsatile GH release; DAC produces sustained GH elevation.
Can I mix CJC-1295 and ipamorelin in the same syringe?
Yes — this is standard practice. Draw both peptides into the same insulin syringe for a single injection. They are compatible and do not interact chemically.
How does CJC-1295 compare to sermorelin?
Both are GHRH analogues. CJC-1295 (no-DAC) has a slightly longer half-life than sermorelin (~30 min vs. ~10 min) and is considered more potent. CJC-1295 with DAC has a much longer half-life (6–8 days) than either.
